The Heart of Paris
Considered by staff and customers as the heart of Paris, KY, the last Jerry’s is one of the first things you see when driving into town from Lexington, KY. Until Jerry’s parent company Jerrico was sold, Jerry’s was 60 storefronts strong and spread throughout the midwestern portion of the United States. Interestingly enough, instead of sticking to the mold set forth by the chain, the Jerry’s staff have curated a “mom and pop shop” atmosphere for this last-of-its-kind diner. This is exemplified by the community customer base and the staff that is made up of local families. “All of our managers have worked here for many years, some have met their spouses here and in doing so, have brought their children to work here,” said Restaurant Supervisor, Shea Ernst, 71, “I believe that all of our managers have a combined 100 plus years of Jerry’s Restaurant service.” Beloved throughout the generations of Paris, KY’s hometown crowd, Jerry's is not only the place to grab a bite, but to be a part of a community that feels like family.
